Admissions: Step by Step

Step 1: Inquire

Let us know that you are interested in learning more.

• Click here to complete an Online Inquiry. Once you do, we will keep you informed about special events, the Admissions process at FGR, financial aid, and the latest news and information.

Step 2: Visit

Visiting our school is the best way to see how you fit into our community.

• Shadow Days are your chance to see what it’s like to be a student at FGR. On your shadow day, you will be paired with a current student and follow his or her schedule throughout the day, meeting teachers and other students, and getting an idea of what daily life at FGR is like. Shadow Days begin in October each year and continue through May. Click here to schedule your Shadow Day.
• Parents and students are invited to tour our school and learn more about our campus amenities, academic and extra-curricular offerings, and what you can do at FGR. Please email admissions@fgrhs.org to schedule a tour. Tours are available on a flexible schedule all year long.

Step 3: Test

• As part of your application to FGR, you will be required to take the High School Placement Test (HSPT). The HSPT is a standardized test developed to help us place you in the classes that will most help you achieve academic success. This test is offered one Saturday morning in November and one in December each year. Registration opens on September 1, 2024. Please click here to register.

Step 4: Apply

•  Applications are accepted from September 1 through July each year.
• We set a mid-December deadline each year and priority consideration is given to applications received by then, but all applications will be considered as space allows.
• Admissions decisions for those who apply by mid-December will be emailed on a specified date in late January each year, after which decisions will be mailed on a rolling basis. Please see the Admissions Events calendar for specific dates.
