Preparing You for the Modern World
Steeped in Catholic Intellectual Tradition, our curriculum is designed to prepare you to meet the demands of the modern world. Solid instruction with an emphasis on skill development equips students for life after high school while concurrently guiding them toward their God-given purpose. Critical thinking and reasoning are foundational to success, and, therefore, emphasized across the curriculum. Our outstanding faculty will guide you to discover and develop their gifts and talents while modeling for you what it means to live the Christian life.
At Father Gabriel Richard High School, you will seek truth through intellectual inquiry and discussion. You will think deeply about questions and learn how to apply what you are learning to form thoughtful answers. You will master scientific inquiry that fosters curiosity and a life-long love of learning. You will be inspired to realize your full potential and use your gifts to change the world for good.

Capstone Projects
Capstone Project Mission: As a culmination of their FGR education, students will create a detailed project in which they synthesize knowledge from multiple subjects; demonstrate critical thought; and achieve a deeper understanding of Truth.
The optional Capstone Project provides seniors an opportunity to synthesize inter-disciplinary learning to study a topic of interest to the individual. This “Beyond AP” experience involves several months of research and culminates in a presentation in the spring of senior year. Each student who undertakes a Capstone is paired with a staff mentor who guides the student through the project.
Topics undertaken by members of the class of 2024 include:
Foster Care and Adoption: Not Mere Statistics
To Move a Soul: The Power of Music to Draw Us into Our Deepest Self
