STUDENT LIFE
Uniforms and Spirit Wear at FGR
FGR students wear uniforms to help provide a visible sense of school unity and identity, foster an atmosphere conducive to learning, and reduce clothing costs for families. An added benefit is the ease of getting ready for school each morning!
At FGR, the uniform generally consists of FGR polo shirts, quarter-zip or crewnecks layered over the polo, khaki navy, or black pants or shorts (at the appropriate times of year) for boys and the plaid kilt or khaki, navy, or black pants for girls.
On Thursdays, Spirit Wear tops, especially Households t-shirts and crewnecks, may be worn with uniform bottoms. During Homecoming Spirit Week in the fall, and Catholic Schools Week in January, each day of the week is designated a theme of dress and students get to have fun with those!
Each year during fourth quarter, seniors replace their uniform tops with college wear as they make decisions and plans for their futures.
FGR school uniforms are ordered through uniform vendor FlynnO’Hara. Each spring, a representative from FlynnO’Hara comes to FGR to conduct in-person fittings. To view our school page on the FlynnO’Hara website, click here.
Spirit Wear is available in our spirit wear shop, FGR Spirit, during select hours each week and also at major sporting and school events. These are indicated on our school calendar.
A selection of spirit wear is available at Our Lady of Grace Bookstore, located in Lobby C of Domino’s Farms. They are open:
