Giving FAQs

Q. FGR charges tuition. Doesn’t this cover the cost of educating each student?

No. We work to keep tuition as low as possible in order to be able to offer an academically excellent, authentically Catholic education to all families who wish to provide this formation for their children. Each year, individuals, foundations, and corporations are asked to make an investment in the form of charitable gifts that supports the strategic needs of the school. In short, it helps sustain programs and services that are NOT covered by tuition. The Annual Appeal and our annual fundraising events, such as the Fall Auction and Stadium Cleanup, provide the funds necessary to keep tuition manageable for families while allowing us to provide an excellent experience for our families.

Q. Why is it important to support Father Gabriel Richard High School Annual Appeal?

Your participation in the fundraising efforts of FGR indicates your belief in the value of an authentically Catholic education. High participation from current families, faculty, staff, and board members can inspire outside benefactors to give.

Q. How much should I give?

Gifts to FGR range from $25 to more than $25,000. Families are asked to consider a gift according to their means. All gifts are important and greatly appreciated, as they support the mission of the school.
