FGR Test Scores on the Rise
Father Gabriel Richard High School’s ACT scores are trending upward for the third year in a row. The composite score for the class of 2018 was 26.6 compared to the national composite of 20.8. Our English score jumped 1.3 points from the previous year to an average of 27.7, while our math scores also improved by 1.3 points to 25.1. Similar upward trends were noted in our reading and science scores.
Our AP students are also showing stellar results with 86% achieving a 3 or higher on AP exams across the curriculum. This is compared to the state average of 65%. FGR currently offers 16 AP courses in mathematics, English, World and Classical Languages, sciences, art, and economics.
The academic success of FGR students is attributed to our distinctive program of academic excellence, intentional discipleship, creativity, and sportsmanship with which we cultivate a habitual vision of greatness in our students, faculty, and staff.
